How It Works

Bluetooth Mesh Protocol

Each phone becomes a node in the network, automatically forwarding messages to extend range beyond what a single device can achieve.

Mesh Hopping

Messages hop from device to device, with each phone extending the network range by approximately 100 meters in all directions.

Battery Optimized

Intelligent power management ensures minimal battery drain, allowing days of operation on a single charge.

Cross-Platform Support

Works seamlessly across Android and iOS devices, creating inclusive networks regardless of phone type.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it really free?

100% free. No ads, no data selling. Supported by grants and our enterprise products like TARK Platform. We believe communication should be accessible to everyone, regardless of income.

How far can messages travel?

Each device extends range ~100m. With 10 devices, you can cover ~1km radius. The more devices in the network, the larger the coverage area. Messages automatically hop through intermediate devices to reach their destination.

Does it work on all phones?

Requires Bluetooth LE (most phones since 2016). Android 8+, iOS 13+. Older devices may not support the mesh networking protocol efficiently. We're continuously working to expand compatibility.
